This website is operated by Karthikeyan Padmanaban, operating as LongEdge Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or request a discovery call, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices and rights you have.

We operate a single-purpose informational website for professional and institutional market participants. This policy applies only to information collected through this website and our engagement process.

DES-1 operates entirely within your own trading environment. Trading data processed by DES-1 during its normal operation never leaves your trading environment and is therefore outside the scope of this policy.

We do not run advertising, behavioural tracking or profiling.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide through the Discovery Call request form. When you submit the form, we collect:

• your first and last name;
• your email address;
• your phone number, if you choose to provide it (optional);
• your primary trading instruments;
• your trading style;
• your current execution platform;
• the free-text description of what you are looking to achieve and where your current setup falls short;
• how you heard about us, if you choose to tell us (optional).

You decide how much detail to enter in the free-text field. Please share only what you are comfortable providing at this stage.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs to operate and secure the site. These logs include your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the date and time of access. We do not use analytics packages, tracking cookies, or profiling tools. These logs are generated as part of normal web server operation and are retained by the hosting provider for operational and security purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to:

• respond to your Discovery Call request and assess whether LongEdge is the right technical fit for your requirements.
• send a copy of your submission to your email address as a record of what you sent us;
• communicate with you about your enquiry.

We use server logs only to operate, maintain, and secure the website.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or data-aggregation purposes.

If you choose to describe your trading methodology, workflow or operational processes as part of your enquiry, we treat that information as confidential and use it solely to evaluate your requirements and respond to your enquiry. We do not reuse it with other clients or for any unrelated purpose.

3. Your consent

You provide this information voluntarily. By submitting the form, you consent to us processing it as described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see section 8); we will then delete your enquiry information unless we are required to retain it by law.

4. Who processes your information

We use the following providers to operate the site and handle your submission:

• Hostinger — website hosting and our email mailbox.
• Resend — the email delivery service that sends a copy of your submission to us and to you.

These providers process your information only to provide their service to us. We do not authorize them to use it for their own purposes.

5. International transfer

We operate from India. Our email delivery provider (Resend) processes data on infrastructure located outside India, including in the United States. This means that when your submission is sent by email, the information passes through and may be stored on servers outside India. We rely on the data-protection terms offered by our providers when this happens.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry information for up to 12 months from our last contact with you, after which we delete it, unless:

• a longer period is required by law or for accounting or regulatory reasons; or
• we enter into a formal engagement with you, in which case retention is governed by that agreement.

Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.

7. How we protect your information

Your submission is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS and TLS). It is received in an access-controlled mailbox protected by multi-factor authentication. We restrict access to the information to what is necessary to respond to your enquiry. We do not use your enquiry information to train machine-learning models or for marketing profiling.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the copy we send to your own email address will sit in an inbox controlled by you and your email provider.

8. Your rights and how to contact us

You may ask us to:

• confirm what information we hold about you and provide a copy of it;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your information;
• withdraw your consent to our processing.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may have the right to raise a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy
